Sponsorship Eligibility
Sponsorship of Special Operations Team Texas shall consist of two categories. The eligibility criteria and condition of terms for each category are outlined below. The Association Board of Directors (BOD) reserves the right to decline sponsorship, if it is not in the best interest of this Association and its members.

Boosters
Any person of good moral character, who wishes to support the organization, may make a minimum donation of $50.00 per year. Boosters shall not be considered as members, but as individual supporters. Boosters are strongly encouraged to donate their time towards promoting the organization, supporting our goals and assisting at major events. Individuals will be listed as such on the SOTT website and in any publications thereof.

Corporate Sponsors
Corporate Sponsorship may be afforded to business entities that offer support, which is in the best interest of the Association and/or its members. "Support" may be in the form of monetary contributions, services or goods. A minimum donation of $100.00, or services/goods of equal value, is required per year. Terms of services and/or donation of goods must be negotiated and are subject to the approval of the EC. Any required contract agreements must be drafted by the CFO and are subject to final approval by the BOD. Businesses will be listed on SOTT's website and in any publications thereof as Corporate Sponsors.

Sponsorship Application
There is no application process for Boosters or Corporate Sponsors. A donation form is available, but not required.

Privileges of Sponsors
Any person may attend any meeting of or within this Association and/or of the BOD, except that portion of a meeting that may be closed because of bona fide personal or sensitive consideration. Non-members, even though not allowed to vote, are encouraged, upon being offered the floor, to voice opinions, suggestions, advice, or recommendations.

Boosters or "Individual Supporters," shall not be extended the rights or privileges of membership, which include voting on any issues or matters presented to the membership. Additionally, Boosters shall not be extended the rights or privileges of voting in elections of Executive Board Officers of the Association or on changes to this Association's Bylaws. They may not hold an elected office and/or official position within the Association. However, they may serve in special capacities as deemed appropriate by the CEO and approved by the BOD. They may also provide input at an advisory level on all matters concerning the Association.

Corporate Sponsors shall not be extended the rights or privileges of membership, which include voting on any issues or matters presented to the membership. Additionally, Corporate Sponsors shall not be extended the rights or privileges of voting in elections of Executive Board Officers of the Association or on changes to this Association’s Bylaws. They may not hold any position within the Association.
